With the twenty third pick in the NFL draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select: Akeen Ayers, LB, UCLA. Ayers has slid a bit since an unimpressive performance at the combine, but his talent shows up in games. The Eagles are well stocked on offense, but their defense has a few holes and getting more talent at linebacker will help.

With the twenty fourth pick in the NFL draft, the New Orleans Saints select: Justin Houston, LB, Georgia. The Saints need to get more pressure on the quarterback to get back into the mix for the Superbowl. Houston provides some versatility as a outside linebacker and rush end on pass plays.
