It was confirmed late Monday evening that Kent State safety Brian Lainhart has agreed to terms with the Bengals. Lainhart, a Colerain High School graduate, grew up a Bengals fan and is happy to be joining his hometown team.
“I’m excited. It’s a dream come true to play for the team I grew up watching,” Lainhart said. “I’m just glad the whole process is over but at the same time it’s going to be a short turnaround having to learn the playbook and system.”

In other news, Mike Brown and head coach Marvin Lewis are planning a press conference for Tuesday morning at 11:30 at their annual media luncheon at PBS. Let’s hope this goes better than the last press conference these two had together.
