AJ Green Signed

Signed in time! (for once)

The frantic push to training camp is well underway, and while we know that Carson Palmer will be a no-show, at least for once we can count on our first round pick being in on time (Thank you CBA!).  Profootballtalk.com has repeated several other reports that Georgia WR AJ Green has signed with the club.

Green, the fourth overall pick in April’s draft, should give the team an immediate impact player at wide receiver, and may in fact make Chad Ochocinco a goner.  With Green, Jordan Shipley, Andre Caldwell, Jerome Simpson, and TE Jermaine Gresham, the Bengals have suddenly stockpiled a bevvy of talented young playmakers at the reciever positions.

Now they just need a few good runningbacks.

As Joe Reedy said, he’s the first Cincy rookie to report on time in 5 years. Another sad indictment of their front office. Hopefully, all those holdouts are in the past.
