Problem is what is Palmer really worth? Not much there is no team that would take him at his current pay and the Bengals couldn’t get a 3rd round pick for him. He has had 2 great seasons as a QB but overall he has been mediocre at best.

I would argue Palmer had more than 2 good seasons. His first season was solid and he had a great 05. Then in 06 and 07 he topped 4000 yds twice. Palmer was a good QB in a terrible scheme.
