Where’s the Jello Pudding?

Another day, another announcement that the Bengals have made more moves.

In a shocking move, the Bengals have announced that KR/PR/WR Quan Cosby has been waived along with TE Chase Coffman and C Reggie Stephens. The waiving of Cosby is somewhat of a surprise when you consider he was a key member of both the KR/PR units and was listed as the 5th WR. Cosby also ranks 1st in franchise history with a 10 yard per punt return average.

In response, they have also announced the waiver claims of former New England WR/KR Brandon Tate, Miami TE Mickey Shuler and Eagles G Mike McGlynn. Tate should fill in immediately on punt and kick returns. The Bengals could also put Jordan Shipley in that roll as well if need be.

Stay tuned for more updates.

I loved Cosby, but Tate not only has more upside as a returner, but he’s a better backup receiver option
too. Quan will get a look somewhere else I hope.
