Perfect Storm Forming in Denver?

The Broncos have a slew of injuries in addition to a short week of practice. It's a potential perfect storm for Denver and a big break for the Bengals.

Even with a soft schedule, it seemed unlikely that the Bengals would start the season 2-0. Sunday they got halfway there. And on Monday, even without playing, the Bengals got a little help.

Four key Broncos were injured in Monday’s loss to the Raiders, leaving their status for this weekend’s game in doubt. According to the Denver Post, defensive end Elvis Dumervil has a strained shoulder, Champ Bailey and Knowshon Moreno injured their hamstrings, and Brandon Lloyd tweaked his groin.

The injuries may not be enough to keep the Broncos from being favorites in Sunday’s game, but they will give Cincinnati a better chance to win. In a short week, it’s doubtful that all the Broncos will be fully recovered in time for Sunday’s kickoff.

It’s good news for the Bengals.

And as always, we’ll take any that we can get.

Hate to see any player get hurt and I hope the best for them, but as a Bengals fan, we’ll definitely take anything we can get that’s in our favor! Who Dey!

Bailey being out would be huge, I think that Jerome and AJ could really do some damage. With what Jermaine put on film last week, they will look to key on him, Ced and Shipley should have big weeks!
