Poised Dalton; Tough Defense Lead Bengals to Win 23-20

The Bengals turned the tables on the Buffalo Bills today, overcoming a 14 point deficit in the second half to defeat the previously-unbeaten Bills, 23-20.

Bengals QB Andy Dalton shook off two first half interceptions (including one that was returned for a touchdown) to lead 4 second-half scoring drives, including the game winner culminated by Mike Nugent’s 43-yard field goal as time expired.

Dalton’s poise in shaking off a rough first half was complimented by the Bengals defense, that pressured Buffalo QB Ryan Fitzpatrick all day and made plays to keep the team in the game.

Huge performances were turned in by RB Cedric Benson and A.J. Green, who both topped 100 yards, and Jermaine Gresham who made several big catches.
