Week Five Fantasy Roundup

The fantasy tie reminded me of this gem from 2008 and the days of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

What, is this Bengals vs. Eagles 2008?  After a whole weekend worth of games, the Lil’ Shipley’s and Loss Prevention couldn’t determine a winner and go into the books as a tie.  Loss Prevention sits alone atop the WhoDeyFans division with a 3-1-1 record while the Red Rifle is reeling at 3-2 after a two game losing streak.  Meanwhile, in the WhoDeyWeekly division, my 4-1 Striped Nightmare continue their impressive winning streak after yet another victory vs. Jovi’s Jungle.  Up next for me is Sack Lunch, who finally got their first win of the season.  My main competition in the division is 4-1 Siegfried and Rey, who kept pace with a big win vs. the Chattanooga Chargers.

This weekend is part two of the rivalry series, as Mickey pits his 1-4 Number 1 Fan vs. Seub’s 3-2 Who-Dey Weekly.  Number 1 Fan doesn’t quite equate to Number 1 Fan-tasy player, but we still love the Mick!  In other key battles, Siegfried and Rey will face off with 1-4 Blue Steel, Red Rifle looks to get back on track against Jovi’s Jungle, and the Louisville Dirty Birds take on Rogue Panda Rampage.  Remember, you can follow all of the action on our Yahoo League page.

Boneheaded move of the week:  Poor Lil’ Shipleys got a goose egg from Kyle Orton due to his bad play leading to Tim Tebow getting a shot in the second half, but the boneheaded move was from her opponent Loss Prevention, who didn’t forsee Bernard Scott (8 points) putting up a big TD late in the Bengals win vs. the Jaguars, nor the offensive explosion of the 49ers on the Bucs D (-2 points).  I gotta pick on somebody, but all in all everyone played their teams well this week after the start of bye weeks.

Who Dey!
