Titans Gashing Bengals, Up 17-7 at Half

The Bengal defense is looking uncharacteristically soft today in Nashville, and the Tennessee Titans are holding a 10 point lead on the Cats, 17-7.

Andy Dalton has looked smooth so far, going 8-of-14 for 97 yards and a touchdown pass to rookie Colin Cochart.  Cedric Benson and the running game has been effective for Cincinnati as well, but penalties and miscues have hurt them.  Defensively, they look very suspect, having already surrendered 233 yards of offense to the Titans, with both QB Matt Hasselbeck and RB Chris Johnson on their way to big days.  Johnson has 55 yards on 9 carries, and Hasselbeck has 2 touchdown passes.

The Titans opened the scoring on their first drive, with a Rob Bironas field goal from 43-yards out.  The Bengals responded with Dalton’s toss to Cochart.  Since then, it’s been all Titans.
