Gruden Gets Extension in Cincy?

First year Offensive Coordinator Jay Gruden reportedly has received a 3 year extension with the Bengals.

Reports have surfaced that Bengals first year Offensive Coordinator Jay Gruden has received a 3 year 3.6 million dollar extension with the Cincinnati Bengals according to ClickOrlando.com and WKMG Local 6 TV in Orlando, FL. Gruden recently surfaced as a potential Head Coaching candidate in Jacksonville and St. Louis before announcing on Tuesday that he has withdrawn his name from consideration.

The Bengals finished 2011 ranked 20th in Total Offense under Gruden while starting rookies at both wide receiver and quarterback. Despite the low ranking, wide receiver AJ Green was named to the Pro Bowl and Andy Dalton was named first alternate at quarterback.
