Get up and play or go home and shut up!

If you couldn’t tell I’m still a little grouchy about the loss.  I love all of my co-writers here but if I read one more time that ‘It’s only Week 1′ I’m gonna flip.  If you read my schedule prediction from last week you’ll know that I did pick the Bengals to lose but I didn’t expect them to be humiliated on National Television.  In my opinion, if this is going to be a playoff caliber team we need to stop being the Bengals that everyone expects us to be.  We can’t lose horribly to good teams and eek out a win against bad teams.  If you want to change my mind about how this team is going to fare this year, the first step is a BIG win against the Cleveland ‘Poop Stains’ this Sunday.  Crush Weedon, contain Richardson, Dalton needs to regress to his accuracy from last year and our defense CANNOT look like a high school defense.  Here’s my continued look at how our Bengals SHOULD shape up this season.

Week 1: Mon, Sep 10 – Cincinnati at Baltimore Ravens, 7 p.m. ET (ESPN)

13-44  L 0-1

1-0 on Picks

Week 2: Sun, Sep 16 – Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati, 1 p.m. ET (CBS)

I expect this to be a SLAUGHTERING.  The defense is gonna come HARD.  The only time I expect them to come harder is when they lay it on Carson Palmer come November.  Every man on our defense is out to redeem themselves and most of the offense as well.  The only ones that aren’t are the ones the proved their worth last week (Green-Ellis, Hawkins, Green & Nugent).  I live in NC and all my close friends, in-laws, sister-in-law AND wife are all Browns fans.  It’s just the 3 1/2 and me to hold down the Who-Dey fort at our party this Sunday at 1.  The Bengals better make that all cry…bad.  It’s still a W for me.  A big one.  I’m even predicting the score for this one.
