Draft Countdown: Day 22

The NFL Draft begins Thursday, April 25.

In advance of this year’s draft and my upcoming book, here’s Day 22 of the countdown.

Did you know?

Former Bengals tight end Reggie Kelly, who was drafted in the second round of the draft by the Atlanta Falcons, thought he might be selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and former head coach Tony Dungy.

Bengals Thought:  I’ve seen at least one mock draft that had the Bengals picking a tight end in the first round and I just don’t get it. Jermaine Gresham is a quality starter, although inconsistent, and Orson Charles, who was drafted last year, had a solid rookie season. I’d be a little surprised if the Bengals drafted a tight end anywhere this year, let alone in the first round.
