Bengals Favorite Four

fo

This is far from a comprehensive list since we only included 16 players at four positions. But our list has been narrowed to four favorites: Boomer Esiason, Ickey Woods, A.J. Green, and David Fulcher. Who’s your favorite? Voting is open the rest of this week. Have at it.

Addition by Addition

Chalkboard with Math Problem

The Bengals seem to have taken Mike Brown’s flea-market mentality into free agency, but the team is not settling for damaged goods. Some may argue otherwise, but let’s consider the consensus of the players they have acquired. None of them have been superstars and most of them have spent the early portions of their career [...]

WDF Bengals Final Four

final-four-300x225

With Ohio State and three other teams I don’t care about in the NCAA Final Four, it’s the perfect time to find our favorite Bengal at four different positions. Voting is open all week. Next week, we’ll throw the four winners together to determine the 2012 WDF Champion. Game on!

The Bengals scouting department has tripled in size

scouts

The Cincinnati Bengals have announced the hiring of two new scouts to the organization, and neither seem to be relatives of the Brown family. Robert Livingston and Steven Radicevic were added to the Bengals scouting department. This goes to show that the Bengals are continuing to try and improve the organization. The Bengals believe in [...]

Twitter reaction to BenJarvus Green-Ellis

twitter

I asked for your response on the news that the Bengals may have a new running back. Finally the Bengals are making some noise in free agency. I will be adding responses here as they come in. WhoDey! @WhoDeyFans I’m good with it…Still think they may go Miller or Martin in draft. Plenty of options [...]

Free Agency: What’s Your Rating?

nfl_money_logo1

The Bengals stopped sitting on their hands and started making some moves in free agency with the acquisitions of Travelle Wharton and Jason Allen and the re-signing of Reggie Nelson. Like everyone else, I was disillusioned at first as other teams opened up the vaults for Robert Meachem, Carl Nicks, and Ben Grubbs, among others. [...]

Bengals In the Fray: Add OG & DB

Bengals add Allen to the defensive secondary

The Bengals finally put their money where there proverbial mouth is yesterday, jumping into the free agent fray with both feet by bringing in two players at positions of need in guard Travelle Wharton and defensive back Jason Allen. Wharton, Carolina’s 3rd-round pick in the 2004 draft, has been a constant starter for the Panthers at [...]

WDF Favorite Bengal Bracket

Every (touchdown) day he was shufflin...

I had an idea today (which is always dangerous) and thought I’d put the wheels in motion. Nominate your favorite Bengals player of all time by adding the name in a comment to this thread and we’ll throw them all together into a tournament style bracket. Then, we’ll vote on each matchup to determine the [...]

Reggie Kelly on the Bengals, Free Agency, and Food

Kelly was an easy guy to root for during his time in Cincinnati.

I spoke with former Bengal Reggie Kelly, one of the nicest NFL players you could ever meet, for my upcoming book and asked him about a number of football-related topics, including our beloved Bengals. Kelly was a solid contributor, a standout blocker, and a stabilizing force for Cincinnati during his time in black and orange. [...]

Draft Profile: Brandon Brooks

brooks

In my endless pursuit of information surrounding the 2012 NFL Draft, I spoke with Miami of Ohio guard Brandon Brooks recently  for my upcoming book. Brooks is an especially intriguing prospect for the Bengals because the team clearly needs to upgrade the guard position and he possesses the size and versatility that the team loves. [...]
