Man, this is the story that will not die. Apparently the Bengals have been granted an exception by the league to avoid a blackout for the next 24 hours. Awesome, I hope the tickets sell to Bengals fans, Lions fans or ceiling fans. You see, if the game sells out everyone wins. The streak stays alive, people can watch from home or other establishments and the organization is happy.
The economy is tough, it is going to be cold, the holidays are coming, you have other plans. All of these are perfectly valid and acceptable reasons to not make the decision to buy a ticket. For those with no excuses, you are the ones we are reaching out to.
Buying a game ticket does not make you a better fan than someone who does not buy a ticket. If you can't afford a game ticket than I am rooting for the sellout so you can continue your support at home. However, if you can afford a ticket and have no plans on Sunday then come down early and tailgate with the WhoDeyFan crew on the bus, we can guarantee a good time.
The issue that I have is with the people that root for the blackout and call fans that buy tickets ignorant mindless sheep. You see these are the people that I have no problem calling out as not real fans. If you don't want to go then don't go. Just keep your holier than though attitude with you as you choose to be a miserable person.
I don't care how articulate or for that matter inarticulate your comments come across, the fact that you claim to be a fan then grossly generalize all other fans that differ in opinion to you and your small group as ignorant makes you an asshole. And I am not a fan of that.
WhoDeyFans will be at the game witnessing the Bengals dismantle the Lions. Hope to see a lot of you there. Maybe the game will be boring. According to the Bengal beer guy you should get used to it. He thinks the playoffs are also going to be boring.
