awwww, he looks so scared...
Writing this article for this season is getting tough. I was hoping I would not be this disappointed until at least week 13. The Bengals are 0-4. I think I kept optimism through the first 3 losses based on a couple of reasons.
- They lost to some pretty good teams. The Titans and the Giants look very good and the jury is still out on the undefeated Ravens.
- They were competitive with the Super Bowl champs in their own house.
And then we lose to the Browns. This team stinks.
What I didn't like:
The clock management of this team is terrible. How do you use all of your timeouts in the second half of a close game you are losing with 13 and a half minutes left? That is just moronic coaching. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a terrible QB. He was wildly inaccurate with his throws and several times forgot what team he played for and tossed it right to the Browns defenders. The O line could not open holes and even when they did, Perry couldn't hit them. Marvin Lewis is becoming a joke. I could go on and on, but like the Bengals, I am going to mail it in this week.
What I did like:
Believe it or not there are two bright spots that come from this game. Ndukwe had an outstanding defensive game. He was all over the field. Sacks, interceptions, passes defensed and tackles, he was outstanding. Second, now all of the idiot Bengal fans will stop saying how good Fitzpatrick looked in the pre-season and maybe he needs a shot. It was stupid then and stupid now. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
It looked like so much fun tackling the Bengals the refs even joined in.
